The Team Profile™

The Personalized Companion to The Clearer Team™

See the whole pattern. Protect every person inside it.

The Team Profile™ combines your team's responses into one shared report across the 7 Foundations Framework™. It shows where the team's experience is shared, where it diverges, and what structures are reinforcing the pattern, without ever ranking members or exposing an individual's answers.

One facilitator begins. The whole team joins by private link. $39 per team member, introductory price. 5-person minimum.

What The Team Profile™ Is

A team can hit every deadline and still be quietly uneven underneath. An average score can't tell you that. The Team Profile™ was built to examine the distribution of a team's experience, beyond a single average.

Every member completes the Profile independently and receives a private Individual Reflection. Once enough members have participated to protect everyone's confidentiality, the team receives one shared Team Report showing where experience aligns, where it diverges, and what structures are reinforcing the current pattern.

The leader receives the same Team Report as every other member. The Facilitator Guide provides discussion guidance, not additional respondent data.

Sample Team Profile™ Excerpt

7 Foundations · Reporting Mode: Standard

Trust reads strong across the team on average. Underneath that average, the team's reported experience spans a wide range. The report keeps that difference pooled at the team level, the same way every respondent's individual answer stays private.

“An average describes the middle. The distribution captures the differences around it.”

Communication: Aligned

Trust: Wide Range in Experience

Resources & Priorities: Some Difference

Growth: Aligned

Individual scores, names, and identifying details do not appear in the shared Team Report.

The Team Map: Five Layers, One Team

Before the 7 Foundations, The Team Profile™ builds a map of what individuals bring, what the group repeatedly creates, and what responsibility follows, the same five-layer method used throughout The Clearer Team™.

What Individuals Bring

Each member brings a Portrait and Connection Style™, along with role, experience, expectations, current capacity, and history with the team.

What the Group Repeatedly Creates

The recurring condition that forms when those individual tendencies meet, week after week, meeting after meeting.

What Structures Reinforce It

The schedules, decision paths, and habits of the team that keep the same pattern in place.

Where Experience Diverges

Where the team's reported experience is shared or splits, without identifying who holds the differing view.

What Responsibility Follows

What the team owes the people affected, inside the team and beyond it.

Then choose where to start. Identify one practical change the team can test first, along with the evidence you will use to determine if it helped.

7 Foundations: Where Individual Patterns Become Team Life

The Team Profile™ examines all seven Foundations through the team's combined, de-identified experience.

Communication

How information actually moves through the team, who hears news first, and where the message and the meaning start to separate.

Conflict

How the team handles ordinary friction, if dissent is safe to raise, and how fully a disagreement actually gets repaired.

Trust

How much the team can depend on each other and on the systems around them, and where that confidence is thinnest.

Intimacy (Understanding)

How well the team actually knows its own people, translated into a bounded, professional form of understanding.

Finances (Resources & Priorities)

How opportunity, workload, and recognition are actually distributed, including the work that rarely gets recognized formally.

Boundaries

Who actually holds ownership and authority on the team, and how clearly those limits are understood by everyone else.

Growth

How the team learns from change, technology, and turnover, and if that learning is actually kept anywhere.

What Makes This Different: Built to Protect Every Person Represented

Many team tools reduce the group to a score. The Team Profile™ was built around a harder question: how do you help a team understand its shared experience without exposing anyone in it?

A whole-team reading

Every shared finding is pooled and de-identified, describing the team without exposing individual responses.

Distribution over average

Every Foundation is reported with its distribution as well as its mean, so meaningful differences remain visible even when the average looks strong.

The leader sees what everyone sees

Every member, including the team's leader or facilitator, receives the identical Team Report. No hidden view, no individual data reaches leadership.

Every voice counted equally

Each member's response carries equal weight in the team's result, regardless of role, tenure, or how many questions applied to them.

Built for how real teams differ

Workplace departments, nonprofit staff, boards, ministries, coaching staffs, and volunteer groups are each read in a language built for their own context.

What You Will Receive: Private Reflections, One Shared Team Report

Every member receives their own private Individual Reflection. The team receives one report, built from everyone's response, that identifies no one.

Your Private Individual Reflection

Your Portrait, your Connection Style™, your own read across the 7 Foundations, your primary area of strain, and practical next steps. Yours alone.

The Team Report

The combined experience across all seven Foundations: where the team agrees, where it diverges, and what structures are reinforcing the current pattern. Identical for every member.

The Facilitator Guide

Guidance for presenting the findings, protecting confidentiality, leading the discussion, and knowing when neutral outside support may help.

Built for How Teams Work Now

The Team Profile™ reflects how teams actually operate today: hybrid and remote members, paid staff working alongside volunteers, authority spread across several people, and years of tenure sitting next to a first week on the job.

Hybrid and remote teams. Paid staff and volunteers together. Distributed authority. Generational and tenure differences. Interteam rivalry. Board and committee dynamics. Uneven workload and recognition. AI tools at work.

How It Works

A Facilitator Begins

Enter your team's information and expected size, then complete a secure checkout.

The Team Joins

Each member receives a private link and completes the Profile independently, at their own pace.

Individual Reflections Arrive Right Away

Each person's private Individual Reflection is ready as soon as they finish, without waiting on the rest of the team.

The Team Report Arrives

Once enough members have participated, the same Team Report is delivered to every member. The designated facilitator or team leader also receives the Facilitator Guide.

Every member's answers remain private. Individual responses, open-ended answers, and identifying details are never shown to the leader or to any other member. Your responses are used to generate and deliver your Profile and are not sold. See our Privacy Policy for information about how your data is processed and protected.

The Team Profile™ is currently built for adult teams of five or more. A shared Team Report is generated only after the participation threshold needed to protect confidentiality has been met.

The Team Profile™ is a development tool for team learning and discussion. It is not designed for hiring, promotion, discipline, performance evaluation, or deciding who belongs on a team.
