Richard Wallace, co-founder of Relationships Reimagined

Richard Wallace is the co-founder of Relationships Reimagined®, where he works alongside his wife, Nancy Wallace, helping individuals, couples, teams, and organizations strengthen the relationships that influence everyday life.

His work combines relationship education, structured sessions, Profiles, leadership experience, and the Relationships Reimagined® 7 Foundations Framework™ to examine Communication, Conflict, Trust, Intimacy, Finances, Boundaries, and Growth across different types of relationships.

About Richard Wallace

A Career Built Around People, Technology, and Leadership

Richard brings more than 30 years of experience across technology, leadership, digital customer experience, business, consulting, and higher education. His perspective often focuses on patterns, systems, decision-making, and the interaction between people and the environments around them.

Before co-founding Relationships Reimagined®, his career included leadership roles in technology and digital customer experience. He has taught at the university level and completed doctoral study in Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University.

That background influences how he approaches relationships: with attention to patterns, systems, communication, decision-making, behavior, and the ways people affect one another.

Relationships Reimagined®

Richard and Nancy founded Relationships Reimagined® around a simple belief: the ability to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships deserves intentional attention.

Their work began primarily with couples and expanded as they recognized that many of the relational challenges people experience also affect families, friendships, workplaces, teams, leadership relationships, and communities.

Today, Relationships Reimagined® provides relationship-development services for individuals, couples, teams, and organizations through sessions, Profiles, premarital preparation, training, workshops, retreats, speaking, books, and educational resources.

Learn About Relationships Reimagined®

The 7 Foundations Framework™

Richard and Nancy developed the Relationships Reimagined® 7 Foundations Framework™ as a way to examine the areas that influence how relationships function.

Communication

How people exchange information, listen, express needs, interpret messages, and understand one another.

Conflict

How differences, disagreements, tension, and recurring patterns are handled.

Trust

The reliability, honesty, accountability, and confidence that develop between people.

Intimacy

How closeness, affection, emotional connection, physical intimacy, vulnerability, and understanding contribute to a couple relationship.

Finances

How money, financial priorities, decisions, expectations, habits, and responsibilities affect a relationship.

Boundaries

The expectations, limits, roles, and agreements that help define relationships.

Growth

How individuals and relationships develop, adapt, learn, and respond to change.

The foundation tells us where to look. The relationship tells us how to apply it.

The Foundation remains consistent. Its application reflects the relationship being examined. For individuals, Intimacy is applied more broadly through Interpersonal Connection. For teams and organizations, Finances expands beyond money to include Resources, while Intimacy is applied more broadly through Interpersonal Connection.

Working With Couples

Richard and Nancy co-lead couples sessions, bringing two perspectives into the conversation. Richard tends to notice systems, patterns, decisions, and what happens when one part of a relationship affects another.

Their couples work may address communication, recurring conflict, trust, intimacy and connection, finances and other shared resources, boundaries, major transitions, relationship patterns, and intentional relationship development.

Couples can begin with a Couples Foundation Session and continue through Focus Sessions or ongoing Couples Sessions depending on their needs.
