How to Read Your
You Profile
A guide for getting the most from your report, whether you are reading it for the first time or returning to it over time.
Where to Start
Your report has two parts.
Begin with Part I.
Part I is a four-to-five page overview of your whole profile. It is the right place to start because it gives you the full picture before going deeper. Part II is the detailed analysis, around 25 pages, that you can return to section by section over time.
Part I
Your Profile at a Glance
The overview. Read this first. It gives you the central pattern, the six arenas at a glance, and the one area to focus on right now.
- Self Snapshot
- Your Life Arenas (six cards)
- Key Findings
- Key Pressure Points
- How You Move Through the World
- Primary Focus for the Next Few Weeks
Part II
Your Full Profile and Action Plan
The depth. Return to this section by section. It is not meant to be read in one sitting. Complete it across a few sittings, returning to each section as it becomes relevant.
Reading the Arenas
What the arena status
indicators mean
Each arena in your report carries a status indicator. These reflect where you are right now and point you toward what deserves your attention.
🟢
Strength
An area that is working well. Protect it, build on it, and use it to support the arenas that need more attention.
🟡
Needs Attention
Workable with focus. Something worth looking at, with real room to improve with small consistent action.
🔵
Needs Focused Support
The area asking for the most work right now. The report gives this arena extra structure, specific practices, and guidance on who to bring it to.
The Portrait Map
The section before
the arenas
The Portrait Map is Part II's opening section. It builds a portrait of how you are wired before the arena analysis begins, because the same patterns usually show up in every room of your life. Understanding the map makes the rest of the report easier to use.
01
Your Portrait
Your portrait: what drives you, what you reach for first, and what that instinct asks of you over time.
02
What Your Portrait Asks of You
Every strength asks something of you. This section names what it asks honestly, before it builds up unseen.
03
How You Read and Steady Yourself
Your emotional intelligence profile: how clearly you see yourself, how well you stay regulated, and where those skills thin out.
04
Your Connection Style™
Your
Connection Style™: the way you build and protect closeness, and what happens when that style meets its limit.
05
Your Default Loop Under Strain
The specific sequence your patterns follow when life gets crowded, and the one sentence that breaks the loop.
06
How Your Pattern Comes Together
How all the parts feed into one system, so the arena reports that follow make sense as a whole.
The Action Plan
Not a checklist.
A starting point.
Each arena in Part II ends with an action plan: specific practices drawn from your responses, with clear language for when each one is working. The list is not meant to be completed all at once.
The most useful thing to do with the action plan is choose one practice from one arena and start there. Return to the rest over time. A report you return to over three months will do more than one you read thoroughly once.
Reflections Worth Having
Four conversations
the report is pointing toward
Near the end of Part II, the report surfaces four Reflections Worth Having, drawn from the patterns and undercurrents in your answers. Each reflection names who to bring it to and how to work through it.
These are not homework assignments. They are the conversations your report has already started. Bring one to a coach, a therapist, a trusted friend, or your own journal, and let it go where it needs to go.
Making the Most of It
How to use your report
well over time
Read Part I first, slowlyThe overview is four to five pages. Give it real attention. The Key Findings section is written specifically for you. It is worth sitting with before moving to Part II.
Pick one arena to startAfter Part I, choose the one arena that feels most alive right now. Read that section in full and choose one practice from the action plan. Start there.
Share it with someone who knows youThe report is written for you alone. Sharing it with a coach, a therapist, or a trusted friend who knows you well will open up more than reading it in isolation.
Return to it over timeThe report is not meant to be read once. The arena that feels least urgent today may be the most important one in three months. Let it be a map you return to.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions
about your report
How long is the report? +
The You Profile is around 30 pages, sometimes more. Part I is four to five pages. Part II is the full analysis and action plan. Read it section by section, not all at once.
Is my report private? +
Yes. Your report is prepared exclusively for you. Your responses are never shared, sold, or used to train any model. You may share your report with anyone you choose. That is entirely your decision.
Can I retake the assessment? +
Each purchase generates one assessment. If your life circumstances have changed significantly and you would like a new report, contact us at RelationshipsReimagined.com and we can discuss options.
What is the difference between the You Profile and the Us Profile? +
The You Profile is for one person: a portrait of how you show up across six arenas of your own life. The Us Profile is for two people. It maps how both partners show up individually and together across seven shared foundations. They are built on the same framework but answer different questions.
What do I do if something in the report brings up strong feelings? +
That is expected. The report is designed to reflect things honestly. If at any point you feel overwhelmed, it is appropriate to pause, take space, and return when you feel ready. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
